do bum enhancing pills work

Over the last ten years, having toned, round glutes have become a top priority for many. With the increased desire for large glutes, we have seen the market offering us all sorts of tools and remedies to achieve these goals quickly. Whereas some can most definitely provide everything you need to get the results you are hoping for, others can be as bad as deadly!

Bum enhancing pills are without a doubt on the list of products that can do more harm than good. Promising to get you results fast at a price as low as £7.99, these products lack proof that they are safe or even that they can deliver any sort of results!

There is an existing lack of regulation over the ingredients they contain, which allows them to be easily distributed online in platforms such as Amazon and eBay.

Adding to this, the ‘customer reviews’ found in many of these pages have been found to be fake. In her exploration of the efficiency of bum enhancing pills, Dr Jennifer Caudle highlighted that there is a lot of evidence that suggests that a lot of the reviews we find in online retailers’ pages are fake. This is a common phenomenon for many products on the internet, admitted by many experts.

But what are bum enhancing pills? And why should you steer clear?

Let’s have a look at what they are and how they work – or at least claim to.

Firstly, you should know that many factors determine the size and shape of your bum. Some examples include genetics, lifestyle, diet, exercise and even the time you spend sleeping!

Your body type, and the amount of muscle and fat you have in your body help determine your bums shape and size. Hence, chances are that stronger and bigger people will naturally have larger bums.

Women tend to store more fat around the pelvis, thighs and glutes, while men tend to store fat in their stomachs. This occurs thanks to the different hormones we produce, along with the lifestyles we lead, and everyone’s personal characteristics. Genetics are not something we can change, of course. However, we can focus on adding muscle mass and some fat to our bum, which will make it look bigger and rounder. We can achieve these results by exercising regularly, focusing on progressive overload, having a complete and balanced diet, getting enough rest and performing the right exercises for your goals.

Bum enhancing pills do not contribute in any way to the development and growth of muscle tissue. Some of these pill’s elemental composition is based on hormones that favour the accumulation of fat in certain parts of the body. This accumulation of fat is what causes – according to these pills – the enlargement of the buttocks. Still, this can produce a hormonal imbalance amongst many other unwelcome side-effects. This is one main reason why you should steer clear of bum enhancing pills. It is also important to remember that any method or remedy based on hormonal substances should always be supervised by a doctor or gynaecologist.

Additionally, other pill’s may contain toxic substances or substances that although may not be toxic, their consumption in large quantities can be dangerous to the human body. This is the case of products that claim to contain ‘natural products. Though adding the tag ‘natural’ to these supplements may make them seem harmless, this can be far from true!

Some of the ‘natural’ ingredients found in many of these products include saw palmetto, fenugreek, maca powder, wild yam and aguaje fruit. Dr Jennifer Caudle remarks that ‘there is absolutely no evidence that suggests that these can give you a bigger butt’. She even goes as far as to suggest that her appreciation of the variety of ingredients included in these pills are ‘random’ and can have many different effects on the body. In fact, there is a lack of evidence that many of these ingredients should be used for ANY health condition at all. Some of these ingredients, such as the much in vogue maca powder can act as an estrogen – hormone – in the body which, as explained above, can be dangerous to your health. Estrogen can have harmful side effects, disrupting your natural hormone development. This can increase certain risk of cancer in women as well as other medical problems, which is why we advise you to stay clear of these products.

Unfortunately, many of these products fail to mention the effect their ingredients have in our bodies. These fall into the category of supplements, an industry notoriously poorly regulated – with a lack of proper testing.

We understand that what these products offer you may seem as a guaranteed, fast, and cheap way to get results. But the truth is that there is no magic pill to enhance your bum, without inflicting the possibility of dangerous consequences. Remember bum enhancing pills do not help in muscle development. The only way to achieve this is by putting the effort through diet, exercise, and calculated rest. If what you are seeking is a better appearance to your glutes fast and efficiently, you can always opt to buy bum enhancing leggings and clothing that may enhance the appearance of your bum. Remember that there are many other ways to get results that do not involve putting your life at risk… so always steer clear from bum enhancing pills!
